Thomas Joseph “Pat” Ryan, 90, of Sacramento died Sept. 23, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Sacramento.
Born in Sacramento, he was a former Yuba-Sutter resident, growing up and attending school in Marysville.
He was a printer for the Sacramento Bee.
Also, he was a volunteer fireman; a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars; Navy League; Carmichael Elks; Sons in Retirement; and the “Over the Hill Gang.”
Serving in the U.S. Navy, he was stationed in the South Pacific during World War II.
Services: Visitation is set from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Nicoletti, Culjis and Herberger Funeral Home in Sacramento. A funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Chapel in St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave., Sacramento.
