What do you like about the job? I like the knowledge I get from this place. And my fellow workers keep a smile on my face.

Hobbies, interests: My husband and I go fishing, camping, hunting. I recently got my hunter's safety license.

What's kept you in the Yuba-Sutter area? I have gone and come back, for family. I moved to Texas for about a year and was in Sacramento for awhile.

What do you like about the area? I like the small town aspect. Everybody knows everybody.

Where would you like to settle down someday? If not here then in Wyoming; it has kind of the same feel. I haven't been there but know people who know it.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? For a very short time my family — my parents and us kids — used to go to NASCAR auto racing. I met several people, including Tony Stewart and Elliott Sadler.

Favorite television show: Right now, my son and I are watching "Once Upon a Time."

Who has had a strong influence in your life? My brother — he's been there through thick and thin, bad and good. He's a wonderful father, husband and brother.

What did you want to be when you were a kid? A teacher when I was younger, and an accountant in high school.

What is your dream job? Being an investigator.

What would you like to see different in the community? More family and youth organizations. You have a lot of things to do in the summer, but it should keep on going throughout the year.

What is your pet peeve? Bad attitudes.
