St. Isidore observes Catholic Schools Week
St. Isidore Catholic School in Yuba City is celebrating Catholic Schools Week, with a variety of events including service projects.
The week began Sunday with an open house after the family Mass.
Activities during the week include collecting blankets for the homeless and socks for the troops; and the annual science fair with projects from students in kindergarten through eighth grade, models of California missions made by fourth-grade students and saint dolls made by third-grade students.

Kindergarten enrollment open
Enrollment for kindergarten, "Jump Start to Kindergarten" and state preschool for the 2012-2013 school year is under way at Brittan School, 2340 Pepper St., Sutter.
Enrollment packets can be picked up during office hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays, at the school office.

Live Oak
Nuestro to hold spaghetti dinner
Nuestro Elementary School's annual spaghetti dinner is from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 9 at the school, 3934 Broadway Road, Live Oak.
Dinner is available for take-out from 3 to 7 p.m. that day.
Hosted by the Parent Teacher Club, the dinner includes a silent auction and door prizes.
Tickets are $5 in advance; $6 at the door; and $8 for take out.
