Butte Vista Elementary School, Yuba City
The Kent Family Circus is coming at 2 p.m. March 24. Tickets are $5 and will be sold after school and at the door.
The 11th annual Jog-a-thon fundraiser is scheduled March 23. All donations go directly into the classrooms.
Notre Dame School, Marysville
Jori Kelley's kindergarten class is learning about folk tales and fairy tales. They will read many stories and make pocket books to take home. In math, they are adding numbers vertically.
The second grade would like to thank all of the adults who came to read to the class on Dr. Seuss Day.
Registration for the 2007-2008 school year will begin with an open house March 25.
Yuba Gardens Intermediate School, Olivehurst
Congratulations to Breanna Gates, winner of the seventh- and eighth-grade spelling bee, and Donald Johnson, who came in second place in the fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade spelling bee. Both will advance to the Yuba County Spelling Bee, along with alternates Lance Miller and Katie Bragg.

Senior sales will be held at lunch Friday in the quad.
CAHSEE testing is March 20 and 21.

The fourth-grade honor roll assembly is today at 1:45 p.m. and the fifth-grade honor roll assembly is at 1:45 p.m. Friday.
The second annual talent show will be held at 6 p.m. March 22.
Marysville Charter Academy for the Arts, Marysville
All parents with seniors are asked to attend the graduation planning meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday.
All eighth-grade parents are asked to attend the promotion planning meeting at 6:30 p.m. March 26.

Report cards go out Friday.
PTO spaghetti dinner and open house is March 22.
