Suspected security camera thieves caught on film
Anyone with information is asked to call the Yuba City Police Department at 822-4660.
Security cameras show two suspected burglars apparently stealing a security camera system earlier this month from Sam’s Club in Yuba City.
Police are asking for the public’s help to identity the suspected thieves, who stole the security system and several computer flash drives on Feb. 19, Yuba City Police Department spokeswoman Shawna Pavey said.
“We’re hoping someone knows who they are and will call us,” Pavey said.
Two men entered the store in the 900 block of North Walton Avenue on Feb. 19 and removed the items, valued at more than $1,200.
Officers were called to the store around 8:30 p.m. that same day, Pavey said.
Police said they took the items out a non-public door somewhere near the back of the store.
They were last seen leaving the scene in the Nissan pickup truck.
Police described both suspects as white men, 20 to 25 years old with light-colored mustaches.
One was said to 6-foot, 2 inches to 6-foot, 3 inches about 220 pounds with short red/blond hair. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket.
The second man was said to be 5-foot, 6 inches to 5-foot, 8 inches, weighing about 150 to 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing a grey baseball cap with “SF” imprinted on it and a grey jacket.
