• What aspects about the community attracted you here initially? The home prices were affordable, better commute for my husband and new schools for the kids.
• What are your favorite places to go in Yuba-Sutter/Mid-Valley/Sacramento area? Wheatland and Old Sacramento
• What is the closest you've been to a famous person? Going back to the '60s, President Johnson was traveling through Rancho Cordova with Gov. Pat Brown and stopped in their limo after catching the homemade signs my mom had made for my sisters and I to hold up. The Secret Service men escorted us up to shake hands and to do a photo shoot for the local newspaper. Also was on the "Captain Delta" show but didn't get to win the treasure trunk!
• If you were granted one wish, what would you wish for? It sure would put a smile on my face to win the Lotto.

• Who do you most admire and why? My husband has worked hard for the past 32 years so that I could remain home with our kids.
• Tell us about a life-changing experience: The death of my oldest child two years ago. It sure changed how I look at life today.
• What was your first job? Sales clerk for a small business store when I was 16
• How would you describe yourself? Easy-going and a positive thinker
