Nicholas C. Shipley

U.S. Army E-3 Nicholas C. Shipley is the son of Kim and Chuck Taylor and Jeff Shipley of Yuba City. He is the brother of Christopher, Zachary and Samantha and the grandson of Linda and RJ Gouge and Maureen and Jerry Shipley, all of Yuba City.
Shipley attended Tierra Buena Elementary School and River Valley High School where he was active in cross- country, baseball and varsity football. He graduated in June 2008 and joined the Army in November.
Shipley completed his basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., in April, receiving medals in expert marksmanship.
Shipley serves the U. S. Army as a military policeman stationed at Fort Stewart, Ga.
