90th Birthday: Smith
Friends are invited to mail cards to Elizabeth Smith of Yuba City in celebration of her upcoming 90th birthday.
Cards may be sent to her by March 9 in care of her daughter, Phyllis Smith, at 1054 Maple Ave., Yuba City, CA 95991.
Elizabeth Smith was born March 11, 1923, in Roseville and grew up in Biggs before moving to the Yuba-Sutter with her husband, the late Hubert "Smitty" Smith, in 1951.
Retired from the Sutter County Recorder's Office and a former elementary school teacher, she is a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Widowed Persons Association.
She formerly volunteered with the Christian Assistance Network.
Her family also includes children Hugh Smith of Yuba City, Lloyd Smith Replogle of Hollister and the late Hubert "Bert" Smith; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
