Lindhurst wrestling advancing four
The Yuba College softball team earned another split on the road Monday.
The 49ers fell 7-2 to Delta College in Stockton before topping Butte 3-2.
Jacky Tanner hit a double and scored a run to help contribute to the win, while McKenzie Kraus (4 1⁄3 innings) and Rachel Quinn (2 2⁄3 innings) combined from the circle to stave off the Roadrunners.
Maggie Ulman went 1 for 2 with a run scored to help Yuba finish the day 6-5 overall.
In the opener, Tanner went 1 for 3 with a home run and Dylanne Brown went 1 for 3 with an RBI.
Quinn went 2 for 4 at the plate despite having a tough game from the circle.
"She pitched really well," said Yuba coach Stephanie Reynolds. "They just had a couple of home runs and we had some costly errors."
The 49ers committed three errors.
Yuba will host Sierra and Shasta on Thursday, weather permitting.

Lindhurst advances four
In Olivehurst — Sunday's Sac-Joaquin Section Division V Tournament finished with some good news for the Blazers.
Thongsai Thanadabout went 4-0 and finished at the top of the 106-pound weight class to advance to the Masters Meet, which will be held at the Stockton Arena this weekend.
After wrestling most of the year at 114 pounds, Thanadabout dropped to 106 recently and has gone undefeated during that stretch.
"He has a pretty good shot at state," said Lindhurst High coach Rob Taylor said. "Not too many people know about him or his style."
Jesus Yanez (132) finished fifth at the section meet, while Jacob Hughes (113) and Justin Martinez (285) each placed sixth.
The Blazers are also sending three wrestlers to the girls state tournament held in Lemoore this weekend.
Kylie Taylor (103), Christy Lor (120) and Teasia Lizama (126) all advanced.
