What is your goal for the new year? To experience more of the United States — I have been to the East Coast, to Canada, and before next year I'm going to try to move to Washington.
Why a move to Washington? Washington seems very appealing right now — it's far enough away from home but close enough to drive back. I lived in Hawaii last year, but it was hard to be thousands of miles away on an island.
Where do you get your news? I have the Appeal-Democrat on my phone and, if I hear anything big I just look it up on the Internet.
What are you best known for? I have a shark tattoo in my armpit that some people know about. I got it done when I got back from Hawaii.
What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Born and raised here.
Where is your dream vacation? I'd like to go to Europe.
What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I met Chris Noth, who plays Mr. Big on "Sex and the City" in a restaurant in San Francisco. He helped me down the stairs because I was wearing heels and my feet were sore. I didn't realize who he was at the time; afterward it clicked.
What would you do with a million dollars? Go back to school.
What is your dream job? I always wanted to be a paramedic or an art school teacher.
Who has had a strong influence in your life? My grandmother. She's my world.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a veterinarian.
What is your pet peeve? I can't stand it when people talk with their mouths full.
