Horsfall takes fourth in javelin at state meet

When the pressure was on, Matt Horsfall responded with the best throw of his college career.

Competing in the javelin, the 49ers sophomore took fourth place at the CCCAA Track and Field State Championships Friday at American River College in Sacramento.

Horsfall's throw went 202 feet, three inches to set a new school record for the 49ers. Last year Horsfall finished sixth in the state with a throw of 190 feet.
