Letter: Ex-candidate supports Sullenger

As a recent candidate for Sutter County Supervisor District 1, I would like to take this opportunity to say many thanks "y muchas gracias" to those who voted for me and supported my campaign during June's primary. Even though we came up a little short, it was a rewarding life experience. Hopefully, my journey will provide encouragement for other women and in particular Hispanic women to get involved and become more of a voice in local issues.

During the course of the campaign, I was able to meet five other interesting individuals who also sought your votes for the same District 1 seat. This letter will confirm my full endorsement of Ron Sullenger and would appreciate those having previously voted for me to now support Ron Sullenger as our new voice for District 1.

I found Ron to be an honest and caring individual that has the experience and maturity necessary to best represent all our interests. He is without question a family man with family values which I believe to be a very important character trait in life. Please join me in supporting and voting for Ron Sullenger for Sutter County Supervisor District 1.

I especially want to invite all of my families and the Hispanic friends to unite in a vote for Ron Sullenger this Nov. 6.
