Three Cheers Letter: Support appreciated for shoot

The membership of the Yuba Feather Rivers Sunrise Rotary Club wants to thank the Appeal-Democrat and local community for its ongoing support of our club's bi-annual Trap and Sporting Clays fundraiser shoots.

Celebrating our region's rich tradition of shooting sports and its agricultural heritage, these fun events bring together both experienced and novice shooters who enjoy a day of camaraderie, a friendly competitive spirit, fresh air and the good feeling that comes from doing a good turn for others.

Our events have raised thousands of dollars over the past two years for a wide variety of youth programs including extra-curricular activities like music education and high school trap teams, back-to-school support, summer camps and much, much more.

Thanks also for the ongoing generosity of our major donor sponsors. Without whose support, these events would not be possible.
