Three cheers letter: Sutter deputy praised for Shop with a Cop

In recognition of our outstanding Sutter County Sheriff’s Department, I would like to commend Deputy Wesly Schmidt on his successful organization of Shop with a Cop evening at the Yuba City Walmart.

The deserving recipient from East Nicolaus High School had a wonderful experience for Christmas. We were escorted by two women from the Sheriff’s Department who gave of themselves well beyond any expectations. These individuals gave back to their community that created a lasting memory for an outstanding young man.
