Art Club tea tickets on sale, luncheon set
Tickets are available for the Marysville Art Club’s fifth annual “Tea” planned Feb. 23.
Tickets, $10 each, can be purchased by calling Charline Gonder at 218-7065 or Rosetta Kilgore at 671-2411.
The club’s first luncheon meeting of 2013 is set at noon Monday at 420 10th St. in Marysville, featuring chicken and all the trimmings.
The luncheon also includes a program presented by Dance Fit Life Zumba fitness studio from Yuba City.

Fern Brown gets volunteer honors
Yuba-Sutter resident Fern Brown was named as the 2012 Rideout Hospice Volunteer of the Year.
She has been a volunteer with the hospice program for almost four years.
Volunteers in the organization contributed more than 3,190 hours to the community from January to December 2011.
The next hospice volunteer training class is set Feb. 4 to March 25. For more information, call 790-3006.
Colusa
Support group for elder caregivers meets
A support group for caregivers of the elderly is scheduled at 2 p.m. Jan. 12 in the doctors’ lounge of the Colusa Regional Medical Center, 199 E. Webster St. Colusa.
The group is designed to give caregivers in similar and often difficult situations an opportunity to talk, share knowledge and information on resources.

Loma Rica
Monthly breakfast planned Jan. 20
The new year’s first monthly community breakfast hosted by the Loma Rica Lioness Club is set from 8-10:30 a.m. Jan. 20, with money raised for the Foothill Intermediate School eighth-grade class’ trip to Washington, DC.
The cost is $5 per person.
Breakfast, at the Foothill Lions Community Center, 5667 Loma Rica Road in Loma Rica, includes scrambled eggs, sausage links, pancakes, peaches, orange juice and coffee.
