Toys for Tots wraps up
Today is the last day to donate gifts to the Marine Corps Reserve Annual Toys for Tots campaign in the Yuba-Sutter area.
Unwrapped gifts, valued at more than $5 each for ages newborn through 16 years of age, may be dropped off at several locations including Wal-Mart stores, K-Mart, Gold Country Bank locations, Sutter Community Bank, Walgreens locations, Yuba Sutter Mall's customer service kiosk and Olivehurst Drug Store.
A complete list of collection boxes can be found at www.am1600kuba.com.
More than 2,000 toys and games have already been distributed to underprivileged children in the Yuba-Sutter area. This year's goal is 2,400 gifts.
The Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program is coordinated locally by John Black of KUBA radio.
