Browns Valley residents Christy Owen and Matt Trull were married May 31 at the Hallwood Church of the Nazarene. Her cousin, James Harrison, officiated.

A reception followed at the bride’s parents home in Browns Valley.

The bride, daughter of Bill and Dearlyn Owen of Browns Valley was attended by her sister, Rachel Nelson of Meridian, as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Lindsay Rafferty of Marysville, Amber Pharris of Plumas Lake and Noemi Sanchez of Live Oak.

Attendants also included Sierra Nelson of Meridian and the groom’s sister, Holly Trull of Warner, Okla., as flower girls; and Trent Pack and Wyatt Nelson as ring bearers.

The bride, a 1999 graduate of Marysville High School, is a manager at Gottschalks.

The groom, son of Jesse and Tami Trull of Warner, Okla., was attended by his father as best man.

Ushers were Dawne Trull of Herald and Nate Scruggs and Tom Kinion, both of Marysville.

The groom, a 2002 graduate of Galt High School, is serving in the U.S. Air Force.

The couple honeymooned at Disneyland.
