Hofeling/Atkinson

Alexus Lauren Hofeling of South Jordon, Utah, and Jeremy Matthew Atkinson of Yuba City were married Dec. 21 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Bountiful Temple in Bountiful, Utah.

A reception was held at the Old McMullin House in South Jordan, Utah, with an open house later at his parents' residence in Yuba City.

The bride, daughter of Brett and Trena Hofeling of South Jordan, Utah, was attended by her sisters, Abby Hofeling, also of South Jordan, as maid of honor and Brittany Hofeling Voss of Boise, Idaho, as a bridesmaid.

Bridesmaids also included Sarah Alexander Fertig, Jordan Colby and Lauria Betty Marble, all of South Jordan, Utah.

The bride is a 2011 graduate of Bingham High School in South Jordon, Utah. She has her pilot's license and works in the insurance field.

The groom, son of Virgil and Roxane Atkinson of Yuba City, was attended by Zach Garner of Buena Vista, Va., as best man.

Ushers included the groom's brothers, Jared Atkinson of Yuba City and Aaron Atkinson of St. George, Utah; and Tyson Colledge of Lehi, Utah, and Mitch Mantle of Buena Vista, Va.

The groom is attending Southern Virginia University with a full-ride wrestling scholarship and works for Vivant Home Automation.

He is a 2005 graduate of Yuba City High School and served a two-year mission for the church from 2007 to '09 in Connecticut and Rhode Island.

The couple honeymooned in Cancun, Mexico, and plan to make a home in St. George, Utah.
