Letter: Tip: ‘Volunteering keeps you young'

Comments 0 | Recommend 0

My husband and I moved to Colusa a few years ago.

We were impressed with the clean parks.

Helpful and courteous people, who work in the community.

We decided to volunteer.

We started with Senior Center.

We are glad we did.

Volunteering keeps you young.

Then I included the hospital, as an auxiliary member.

Both areas are so rewarding.

Helping others makes your life more fulfilled.

Volunteers are needed all over.

They really are appreciated.

Phyllis Spiller

PAY HIKE?
What should the board of trustees do with the proposed $29,282 pay raise for Chancellor Nicki Harrington?
Rescind it. Now is not the time.
Give it to her. She should be compensated fairly and competitively.
