Marjorie R. Wessels
Marjorie Ruth Wessels, 80, of Yuba City died Sept. 20, 2006, at her residence.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 51 years.
She was a homemaker.
A member of St. Isidore Catholic Church in Yuba City, she was also a member of the church's Altar Society and active in its Holy Angel School.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher A. Wessels of Roseville and Scott J. Wessels of Fresno; a daughter, Kimberley M. Wessels of Visalia; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Clarence A. Wessels; a son, J. Craig Wessels; a brother, Joseph Price; and two sisters, Agnes O'Brien and Annette Wessels.
Services: Visitation starts at 3 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a rosary recited at 7 p.m., at Chapel of the Twin Cities in Yuba City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave., Yuba City, with Rev. Loreto B. Rojas officiating. Burial is at Sutter Cemetery in Sutter.
