Leroy E. Schaad
Leroy E. Schaad, 84, of Williams died Jan. 22, 2004, at Enloe Medical Center in Chico, as a result of an accident.
Born in Williams, he was a lifelong Mid-Valley resident. He was a farm owner/operator for 50 years.
He was a 60-year member of the Masonic Lodge, an 80-year member of the Williams Community Church and an 18-year member of the Williams Fire Board.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1941 to 1945 during World War II.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Patricia Schaad of Williams; a son, Allen Schaad of Sacramento; a sister, Betty Rhoades of Williams; and a grandson.
Contributions may be made to the Williams Community Church or the Williams Fire Department.
Services: Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at McNary-Moore Chapel in Colusa. A funeral service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Williams Community Church, 315 Ninth St., Williams. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery.
