40th Anniversary: Waters
Former Yuba-Sutter residents Craig and Wanda Waters, the former Wanda Biggs, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary with an RV trip this spring through several states.
They owned and operated Star Bait and Tackle in Yuba-Sutter for 20 years before retiring in 2004 and settling in Bend, Ore., six years ago.
The couple were married Nov. 26, 1971, in Rough and Ready. He is a native of Marysville; she was a resident of the city for 37 years.
He worked in mobile homes and recreational vehicles before owning Star Bait and Tackle.
She worked in retail and later at Lamon Construction for 21 years.
After their retirement they traveled across the United States and, in 2008, purchased Heritage U.S.A. in Sisters, Ore.
They enjoy their family, friends, dogs, traveling, fishing, hunting and exploring Oregon.
