Georgia E. Park
Georgia Ethel Park, 86, of Yuba City died Jan. 25, 2006, at Rideout Memorial Hospital.
Born in Holtville, she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 20 years.
She owned and operated Mayfield Grocery Store in Yuba City and Sutter for around 20 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Gaither of Yuba City and Mary Mayfield-Gambill of Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Howard Maddox of Yuba City and Robert Maddox of Adin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Norman Mayfield and Joe Park; two brothers, Richard Maddox and Wayne Maddox; and three sisters, Ruth Blatt, Nellie Welch and Ila Davis.
Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 1372 Longfellow Ave., Chico, CA, 95926.
Services: A graveside service is at 10 a.m. Friday at Sutter Cemetery, 7200 Butte Ave., Sutter. Her family will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City.
