Food distribution sites set

The Yuba-Sutter Gleaners Food Bank has scheduled its U.S. Department of Agriculture food distributions at various locations in January.

Distributions are from 9 a.m. to noon:

Jan. 16 - Moose Lodge, 205 S. Walton Ave., Yuba City.

Jan. 23 - Y-S Gleaners warehouse, 460 A St.; and Richland Housing, Hans Miller Building, 420 Miles, Yuba City.

Jan. 24 - Wheatland Senior Center, 705 Third St.; Sutter Youth Organization, 7740 Butte House Road, Sutter; and South Sutter Recreation Association building, Palm Street, East Nicolaus.

Jan. 25 - Live Oak Community Center, 10200 O St., Live Oak.

Jan. 26 - American Legion Linda Post 807 Hall, 5477 Feather River Blvd., Linda; and the First Presbyterian Church, Sampson Street and Rideout Way, Marysville.

Jan. 27 - Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 4956 Powerline Road, Olivehurst; and Beale Air Force Base Chapel, Annex No. 2.

Sites scheduled for distribution to residents only include Jan. 16 - Park Terrace Apartments, Yuba City; Jan. 25 - Country Oaks and Date Street apartments, Live Oak; Jan. 26 - Buttes Christian Manor, Marysville; and Jan. 27 - Olive Tree Apartments in Olivehurst and Sutter Village Apartments in Yuba City.

Those receiving goods must have a Y-S Gleaners distribution card in their possession or proof of residence. Applicants' income must also meet the guidelines set by the Emergency Food Assistance Program.
