Yuba sports: Baseball falls to Napa; softball gets first win

After blasting the No. 2 team in the Bay Valley Conference on Monday, the 49ers fell on the road to one of the worst.
Napa rallied for six runs in the third inning and Yuba suffered another frustrating setback after beating Contra Costa 13-2 the day before.
Brandon Radar was 3 for 4 with a double and Anthony Stolo was 2 for 5 for Yuba (9-14, 5-9).

Yuba gets first win
The Yuba College softball team has gone through its struggles this season — 0-20 with just the stretch to play.
But after losing the first game 11-2 to Los Medanos, the Lady 49ers battled back and finally put one in the win column, beating the Mustangs 12-4.
Lyndsey Sizemore went 2 for 4 and Emily Correia went 3 for 3 with a double and two RBIs to lead Yuba. Kayla Cunha got her first win from the circle, striking out four and walking none, after pitching the first game as well.
Jackie Sizemore went 3 for 3 with two doubles in the first game.
