Dean A. Palmer
Dean A. Palmer, 76, of Yuba City died April 7, 2006, at Rideout Memorial Hospital.
Born in Cresbard, S.D., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 38 years.
He was a mortgage banker and a graduate of Sacramento State College.
He attended St. Andrew Presbyterian Church.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Rio Linda; Sacramento Scottish Rite Masonic Bodies; Ben Ali Shrine of Sacramento; Central Sacramento Valley Shrine Club; Peach Tree Golf and Country Club; Marysville Elks Lodge; and Yuba City Moose Lodge.
In addition, he served in the U.S. Navy in Korea.
Survivors include his wife Lorraine Palmer of Yuba City; two sons, Lynn Michael Palmer and Steve Palmer, both of Sacramento; a daughter, Rebecca Palmer of Sacramento; three stepdaughters, Debra Brookins and Brenda Page, both of Yuba City, and Lori Castro of Magalia; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Stinson.

Services: A memorial service is scheduled at 1 p.m. April 21 at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 1390 Franklin Road, Yuba City. Private inurnment is at Sutter Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City.
