Felony Arrests

Khandi Leann Gates, 25, of the 500 block of Cooper Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested at noon Feb. 1 by the Yuba City Police Department on the 500 block of Cooper on suspicion of burglary and conspiracy. She was booked into Sutter County Jail.

William Paige Hughes, 72, of the 4500 block of Ardmore Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 4 p.m. Feb. 1 at the Sheriff's Department on suspcion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and being a felon in possession of ammunition. He was booked into Yuba County Jail.
