25th Anniversary: Clayton

Lifelong Yuba City residents Michael and Gayel Clayton, the former Gayel Quick, are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary with a party Sept. 28 at the Seven Mile House in Yuba County.
The festivities are being hosted by their children.
The high school sweethearts met while he was a junior and she was a freshman at Yuba City High School. He graduated in 1984 and she graduated in 1986.
The couple were married Sept. 26, 1987, in Yuba City.
He is a self-employed truck driver.
She is an eligibility worker with Sutter County Welfare.
The couple has owned several businesses in Yuba City, including a photography studio and landscape contracting company.
They have two children, Rebecca Clayton and Matthew Clayton, both of Yuba City.
