Yuba City residents Dylan Nichol and Sophia Louise Efimoff, the former Sophia Story, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in Nevada City.

A trip to Maui, Hawaii, is planned later this year.

The couple were married Sept. 26, 1987, at Ellis Lake in Marysville and are longtime Yuba-Sutter residents.

Employed at Burkhart Dental Supply in Roseville, he has worked in the dental supply field for 22 years. He is a 1987 graduate of Yuba City High School.

A 1987 graduate of Lindhurst High School, she graduated in 1990 from Yuba College, and is a teacher and stay-at-home mother.

She attended California State University, Chico, receiving a bachelor's degree in 1993 and multi-subject credential in 1995. This year she received two special education credentials through Brandman University, Yuba City.

They are active members of the First Lutheran Church in Yuba City.

The couple has five children, Jacob, Sarah, Shaiann, Shellody and Robert.
