Felony Arrests

Tiara M. Tyson, 26, of Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 6:40 p.m. Oct. 10 in the 700 block of Taber Avenue on suspicion of vandalism. She was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

James E. Aguilar, 34, of the 300 block of Woodbridge Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 2:50 p.m. Oct. 10 at his home on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Nicole R. Acosta, 31, of the 1800 block of Baugh Street, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 11:40 a.m. Oct. 10 in the 200 block of Fifth Street on suspicion of robbery and burglary. She was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Cheryl L. Bryan, 42, of the 4800 block of Fleming Way, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 10 at her home on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of marijuana for sale and possession of a narcotic controlled substance. She was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Driving Under the Influence arrests

Thomas M. Akin, 24, of the 700 block of Chestnut Street, Marysville, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 9:33 p.m. Oct. 10 on Grand Avenue. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Abdishakur M. Mohamud, 22, of the 1100 block of East 17th Street, Marysville, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 2:05 a.m. Oct. 11 on Linda Avenue. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.
