70th Anniversary: Keding
Longtime Yuba City residents Glenn and Dorothy Keding, the former Dorothy Reyher, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with dinner on Thanksgiving Day at the Bonanza Inn Convention Center.
Joining the couple were their daughter and her husband, Glennis and Dan Wilson of Grass Valley, and two grandchildren.
Glenn and Dorothy met at a dance in Southern California and were married Nov. 22, 1942, in Las Vegas. They have been Yuba-Sutter residents for 67 years, since he was discharged from Camp Beale.
Originally from Texas, he served with the US Army during World War II. He is a retired carpenter and collects duck decoys.
A native of Colorado, she is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Yuba City and loves her yard.
Their family also includes son Doyle Keding of Roseburg, Ore.
