Name: Shannon Casaulong.

Occupation: Enlisted in the US Navy. I am a 2012 graduate of Yuba City High School and was on school wrestling team.

How did you decide on the Navy? It's always something I wanted to do since I was a kid. My grandpa was in the Navy.

Hobbies, interests: I work out all the time. I also like running, swimming, reading, listening to music.

What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? Born and raised here.

Aside from friends and family, what do you miss about the Yuba-Sutter area? Running at the river bottoms.

What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I work out with them every day — military officers, enlisted.

What would you do with a million dollars? Probably give it to my mom.

Where would you like to settle down someday? I live in San Diego now, so probably around there.

Who has had a strong influence in your life? My mom.

What is your dream job? Navy Seal.

What would you like to see different in the Yuba-Sutter community? Some nicer restaurants.

What do you like about yourself? I'm a hard worker, am motivated.

Where is your dream vacation? Where I'm living, in San Diego, is a vacation. I like it there.
