Where do you get your news? I usually read the Appeal-Democrat, and see it and Yahoo online.
What brought you to the Yuba-Sutter area? I was born here, but we lived in Washington and Southern California before we came back in 2001 when my dad retired.
What do you like about the Yuba-Sutter area? That it's small — I don't like big cities. I like the movie theater on Highway 99 and I like downtown Plumas Street.
Favorite sports team: The Gold Sox — my husband and I only missed one game last season.
Where would you to settle down someday? I would like to move to Seattle — we lived there when I was a kid. My grandparents are there. I loved the ocean and the weather.
What is the closest you've been to a famous person? I met the country band Love and Theft in Yuba City two summers ago.
What would you do with a million dollars? Finish school and travel a lot. I would like to take a train through Europe.
Do you have a favorite memory to share? My grandparents lived on a boat at Puget Sound in Washington. I was there for two weeks, and we went up into Canada and Vancouver.
What is your dream job? To be a food critic. I like to eat.
What would you like to see different in the community? I would like to see people more excited about the community.
What do you like about yourself? I'm very driven, self motivated.
Where would you like to spend a week? It's been cold here, so the Caribbean.
Favorite book: The "Sherlock Holmes" series. Now I'm reading Goethe's "Faust."
What did you want to be when you were a kid? A special ed teacher.
What is your pet peeve? Fingernail biting.
