40th anniversary: Bishop

Marysville residents Ronald and Kimberly Bishop, the former Kimberly Lystrup, were feted with a surprise dinner party in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary.
They plan further celebrations with a getaway to a destination of their choice.
The dinner at the Ranch House in Yuba City was hosted by their children and their spouses.
The couple were married Feb. 3, 1973, in Marysville and are longtime Yuba-Sutter residents.
He is retired from having worked in the trucking industry.
She is a receptionist at Larry Geweke Kia in Yuba City.
Their family includes two children, Kamie Sickels and Brandon Bishop; and five grandchildren.
