Felony Arrests

Steven A. Torres, 22, the 1600 block of South Township Road, Yuba City, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 3:15 a.m. March 13 in the 300 block of Sixth Street on suspicion of vehicle arson. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Keith A. Scholfield, 48, of the 5900 block of Garden Avenue, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 3 p.m. March 13 in the 200 block of Fifth Street on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Brenda L. Brooks, 55, of Nicolaus, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 5:38 p.m. March 13 in the 700 block of Gray Avenue on suspicion of burglary and petty theft with prior convictions. She was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Rajinder S. Deo, 49, of the 1700 block of Andross Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Yuba City Police Department at 9 a.m. March 13 at his home on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Jennifer L. Evans, 26, of the 900 block of Marcia Avenue, Yuba City, was arrested by the Sutter County Sheriff's Department at 9:12 a.m. March 13 in the 900 block of Tharp Road on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant. She was booked into the Sutter County Jail.

Juan Hernandez-Guzman, 30, of the 6000 block of Gossett Way, Linda, was arrested by the Yuba County Sheriff's Department at 10:47 p.m. March 12 on Hammonton-Smartsville Road. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Manuel R. Borjas, 41, of the first block of Via Grande, Olivehurst, was arrested by the Marysville Police Department at 10:55 p.m. March 12 at Fifth and H streets. He was booked into the Yuba County Jail.

Satnam Singh, 50, of the 2300 block of George Washington Boulevard, Yuba City, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol at 10:13 p.m. March 13 on George Washington. He was booked into the Sutter County Jail.
