Yuba City resident Orval Morris celebrated his 94th birthday with festivities at the Black Bear Restaurant in Gridley.
Born Feb. 20, 1913, in Basher, Mo., he has been a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1926.
Now retired, he worked as foreman at Dantoni Orchards, Hammonton Gold Dredgers and Pacific Growers in Yuba City.
He is a member of Grace Baptist Church in Yuba City.
His family includes his wife, Inie Morris, three children, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
