Engagement: Warta/Ithurburn

Yuba City residents Ashlie Warta and Matt Ithurburn plan to wed June 28 at the home of Brian and Angela Warta in Yuba City.

The bride-to-be, daughter of Loren and Kathy Warta of Yuba City, recently earned an associate's degree from Yuba College.

She works as a secretary at Ashby law firm.

Her fiancé, son of Steve and Jennifer Ithurburn of Yuba City, is studying exercise physiology at California State University, Chico and plans to attend physical therapy school after graduating.

He works as an assistant project engineer for Otto Construction and volunteers at Thompson and Rodrigues Physical Therapy.

Both attended Faith Christian High School in Yuba City.

HOMELESS SHELTER?
Yuba City is considering using the former fire station No. 4 on Walton Avenue as a cold-weather shelter for homeless families. Is this a good idea?
