Wedding: Arellano/Pappas

Vincent and Adriana Pappas

Yuba City residents Adriana Arellano and Vincent Pappas were married June 21 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Marysville.

The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Julian Medina.

A reception followed at Walnut Avenue Community Center in Yuba City.

The bride, daughter of Dimas and Isabel Arellano of Yuba City, had Alondra Bains of Yuba City as her maid of honor.

A 1999 graduate of Yuba City High School, she holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from California State University, Chico.

She works for the State of California.

Bridesmaids were Alicia Romero of Yuba City, Genoveva Diaz of Gridley, Jennifer Johnson of Fairfield and Britnee Torres of Redding.

The groom is the son of Alex and Linda Pappas of Yuba City.

A 1992 graduate of Yuba City High School, he holds a bachelor's degree in history. He teaches social science at YCHS.

Ushers were Michael Pappas and Eduardo Arellano, both of Yuba City, Matthew Pappas of Rocklin, Stephen Pappas of Sacramento and Miguel Arellano of Fairfield.

Attendants also included Monisha Bains, Consuelo Mendoza and Luz Mendoza as flower girls and Juan and Rosa Diaz as candle lighters.

The couple honeymooned in Fort Bragg, Mendocino and Sonoma County.
