Marysville High pizza fundraiser
Primetime Pizza in Marysville will donate a portion of its sales Wednesday to the Marysville High School 2010 Grad Night Committee.
The fundraiser will run from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at 1 E. 12th St.
Participants must mention MHS Grad Night when ordering, by phone or in person, for the money to be donated. All money raised will go toward providing a safe and sober event for graduating seniors and their guests.
Peach Tree CEO at Chamber event
Tom Walther, CEO of Peach Tree Clinic, is among the guest speakers at the Yuba-Sutter Chamber of Commerce November Business Connection Breakfast in Yuba City.
"Institutions of Healthcare" is planned from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. Friday at the Fremont-Rideout Conference Center, 989 Plumas St.
The cost is $13 due by Wednesday and $15 thereafter.
Speakers also include Theresa Hamilton, CEO of the Fremont-Rideout Health Group, and David Yamamoto, CEO of the Sutter North Medical Foundation.

Gift cards for grad night
The Yuba Sutter Mall will donate 5 percent of its gift card sales in November to local high school 2010 Grad Night committees.
Donated funds will benefit Marysville, Sutter, Live Oak, Yuba City and River Valley high schools committees.
Those purchasing mall gift cards must mention a high school of choice for the donation to be made.
Anti-fraud talk at Umpqua Bank
Umpqua Bank in Yuba City is hosting a fraud prevention seminar from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday at 1221 Bridge St.
The free presentation includes an officer with the Yuba City Police Department discussing such topics as counterfeit bills, checks and identification.

EIC cancels Nov. 24 meeting
The South Yuba Economic and Improvement Committee has canceled its Nov. 24 meeting due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
The next meeting is at 6 p.m. Jan. 28 at Duke's Diner, 1770 Seventh Ave., Olivehurst.
