Army National Guard Pfc. Tyler W. Brookins graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
He is the son of Debbie and Dale Brookins of Yuba City. A 2004 graduate of Yuba City High School, he received an associate degree in 2007 from Yuba College.

Army Pvt. Jennifer N. Whitten graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
She is the daughter of Susan Brown of Wheatland.

Air Force Airman Frederick C. Burgos graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The son of Debra Mitchell of Yuba City, he is a 2008 graduate of River Valley High School in Yuba City.
