Dorothy M. “Gramy Doss” Gambrel, 94, of Yuba City died Sept. 23, 2006, at Emmanuel Health Care Center in Yuba City.
Born in Polk County, Mo., she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 65 years.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son, Jim Huff of Yuba City; a daughter, Jody Ohrt of Marysville; a brother, Charles Mitchem of Bolivar, Mo.; two sisters, Maudie Baker of Kansas and Dora Mustain of Bolivar, Mo.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold Huff and Louis Gambrel; a son, Arnold E. Huff; and a great-grandson.
Services: Services are private. Burial is at the Yuba City Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City.
