A Yuba City woman was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run driving and drunken driving after hitting a pole and garage with her sport utility vehicle, police said Wednesday.

Deborah Louise Clark-Ellison, 40, was booked into Sutter County Jail early Wednesday. She was no longer being held that afternoon.

Officers were called to Dell-Wayne Estates, 3120 Live Oak Blvd., at 11:20 p.m. Tuesday and found a garage attached to a modular home had been damaged. Yuba City firefighters propped up the roof of the garage with 2-by-4s, said Yuba City Police Department spokeswoman Shawna Pavey.

No one was injured. There was no damage estimate.

Officers found the unoccupied tan SUV in front of an apartment complex at 1290 Northgate Drive. Clark-Ellison's residence is in Dell-Wayne Estates, according to jail records.

At about 1 a.m., an officer stopped a car with a burned-out headlight at Colusa Avenue and Highway 99. Clark-Ellison was a passenger in the car, said Pavey.
