Body in Sutter Buttes identified

A body found in October near the Sutter Buttes' summit has been identified as Cody Williams, 39, of Yuba City.
Foul play is not suspected, Sutter County Sheriff's Capt. Lewis McElfresh said.
Authorities described Williams as a transient known to live in Yuba City.
An official cause of death remains unknown and will likely never be discovered, authorities said.
Construction workers found Williams' body Oct. 9 at a small campsite on an unnamed dirt road near Pass Road in Sutter County.
Remains were sent to the US Justice Department laboratory for DNA analysis.
It's not clear how long Williams' body was in the mountains. Authorities described the body's decomposition as advanced.
