Tea Party protest planned

Angry truck drivers won't be the only ones headed to Sacramento to protest oppressive government Friday, with the Tea Party Express Caravan rallying at the Capitol building that day as well.

Locals interested in joining the caravan and attending the rally can meet with organizers at 10:15 a.m. Friday, at Washington Park, north of where Highway 70 and 20 meet in Marysville.

The Sacramento rally will feature Assemblyman Dan Logue, R-Linda, as a speaker.
