Tea Party protest planned

Angry truck drivers won't be the only ones headed to Sacramento to protest oppressive government Friday, with the Tea Party Express Caravan rallying at the Capitol building that day as well.

Locals interested in joining the caravan and attending the rally can meet with organizers at 10:15 a.m. Friday, at Washington Park, north of where Highway 70 and 20 meet in Marysville.

The Sacramento rally will feature Assemblyman Dan Logue, R-Linda, as a speaker.

Oh my gosh! I better run really hard right now so I can get a spot. You know with Ol' Dan speaking it will be wall to wall people. Maybe he will have the borders shut down by then?

Isn't it amazing that the same people who are so upset about the passage of Prop 8 are the same ones to resort to highly inappropriate sexist, sexual remarks that defame gays and women in attempting to defame a real grassroots effort.
