    Tech center for Cyber Command

As part of a continuing effort to attract a new technology-based Cyber Command to Beale Air Force Base, members of the Beale Enhancement Team have proposed a partnership with Yuba Community College District and Yuba Sutter Economic Development Corp.

Representatives from all three entities announced tentative plans Monday to build a facility that could house a cyber technology education center between the college and the air force base.

The proposed Center for Innovation in Autonomous & Cyber Technology would “serve as a think tank,” according to Ron Bartoli, chairman of the Beale Enhancement Team.

Bartoli’s team plans to meet in Sacramento in mid-November with “high-tech businesses that have expressed an interest in helping establish the Center for Innovation,” according to a college district press release.

    BACK TO SCHOOL?
The new GI Bill benefits vary from state to state depending on tuition and fees, replacing the previous flat stipend, and also includes a formula for private college assistance. Do you agree with this approach?
Yes, it allows veterans more choices of where to attend college.
I like it, but the private school policy is flawed in California.
    I think it's too generous.
No, it pits states against each other.
