Plumas Lake woman ID'd in fatal crash

A Plumas Lake woman has been identified as the driver killed Saturday night when her vehicle rolled into a ditch in west Linda.
The California Highway Patrol said 27-year-old Rachael Lynn Gertz was driving a silver Honda Accord north on Feather River Boulevard about 8 p.m. when the vehicle left the road, hit the embankment and rolled into the ditch. [Read previous story]
She was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene, CHP Officer B. Jurado said.
Anyone who witnessed Saturday night's crash is asked to call the CHP at 674-5141.
