Briefs: Festival set for Saturday in Colusa
Cultural Awareness Coalition of Colusa County is hosting a Multi-Cultural Festival 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday at Will S. Green Park on Webster Street in Colusa.
Festivities include informational booths cultural activites, a Kids Zone and vendors.
Performances include cultural dances by Aztec, California Native American and Polynesian dance groups.
Admission is free.

Marysville
'Liberty' film to be screened
Foundation for Individual Responsibility is hosting a free screening of "Principles of Liberty" as a part of its Saturday at the Movies program.
The show begins at 2 p.m., with doors open at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at 723 D St., Marysville.
The movie as described in "The 5000 Year Leap" by W. Cleon Skousen, is about the 28 principles laid out by the Founding Fathers in the US Constitution.
Yuba City
Highway 20 focus of Yuba City meetings
Yuba City is hosting design workshops this week to revitalize Highway 20 east of Highway 99 — a prominent gateway into Yuba City.
The first meeting will be held Tuesday at the Bonanza Inn at 1001 Clark Ave. when three focus groups gather from 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, a daytime public workshop will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at the inn and a community presentation from 6 p.m.-7 p.m at Yuba City City Hall.
Meetings will be held Thursday at the Sutter Conference Room in City Hall from 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. and from 11 a.m.-12-30 p.m. when the City Council meets.
Redevelopment of the Highway 20 corridor is intended to revitalize an older and underutilized commercial corridor.
