Emergency responders tend to the drivers of a minivan and sedan after an injury accident Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at the intersection at Forbes and Clark avenues in Yuba City. Yuba City Police Officer Ray Kodani said the sedan and minivan were both stopped at the stop sign on Forbes Avenue. The sedan, driven by Reymundo Garcia, 54, of Marysville, proceeded eastbound on Forbes Avenue when it collided with a minivan driven by Dorris Pettet, 69, of Olivehurst. The minivan was turning southbound on Clark Avenue after traveling westbound on Forbes Avenue. Both drivers complained of pain and were transported to Rideout Regional Medical Center.

2 people sent to hospital after Yuba City car wreck

A two-vehicle accident at Forbes and Clark avenues in Yuba City sent two people to the hospital, police said.
A BMW sedan was traveling east on Forbes when it collided with a Nissan minivan turning south on Clark after traveling west on Forbes.
Yuba City Police Officer Ray Kodani said the two drivers were transported to Rideout Regional Medical Center with complaints of pain.
The driver of the sedan, Reymundo Garcia, 54, of Marysville complained of left shoulder pain. The minivan driver, Dorris Pettet, 69, of Olivehurst complained of chest pain.
