UPDATE: Yuba City man held on gun charge

A Yuba City man who refused to come out of his Shasta Street house after allegedly firing a handgun in his back yard was being held today in Sutter County Jail on $150,000 bail.
Martin Anthony Galindo, 61, is charged with negligent discharge of a firearm.
Galindo is scheduled to be arraigned Monday in Sutter County Superior Court. The woman who was with Galindo when he came out of the house wasn't charged with a crime.
The incident began at 1:19 p.m. Thursday at Galindo's residence in the 900 block of Shasta Street and ended about 2½ hours later after the Yuba City Police Department SWAT team arrived.
