Woman, teenage son arrested in pot bust

An Orland woman and her teenage son were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of cultivating marijuana and selling it, the Orland police said.

Doloros Tereasa Lusher, 50, was booked into Glenn County Jail on those charges, plus an additional felony of child endangerment.

Her 15-year-old son was booked into the Glenn County juvenile center.

The arrests followed a two-month investigation with assistance from the Glenn County Interagency Narcotics Task Force and Glenn County Sheriff's Department.

Police said 12 immature marijuana plants, numerous marijuana seeds germinating and more than an ounce of processed marijuana were discovered after serving a search warrant at a residence in the 800 block of Papst Avenue.

Police said small baggies, scales, grow lights, fertilizer, potting soil and other paraphernalia were located inside the residence.
